Here is a quick list of things I’ve noticed people on social networks and my friends, hate about Guild Wars 2.
Clik here to view.

1. The “quests” are too confusing to find. Not enough direction.
2. The hearts and events don’t give enough experience points so you have to run around map redoing events or hearts you’ve already done to level up. It gets boring.
3. Event bosses have too many hit points when a lot of people gather around. It takes too long to kill the boss and it becomes boring chipping away at the HP.
4. The game art style is hard on the eyes especially in people with bad eyesight.
5. Human female characters start out with slutty clothes. Example is the guarder belt and mini skirt on Elementalist.
6. Menus are very confusing.
7. Getting in and out of PvP and WvW is a pain. Finding how to do it is confusing. Most new players don’t know the queue buttons are in the character menu.
8. The game has steep learning curve coming from “normal” MMOs
9. The overflow and server systems are very confusing. People are not sure if they are in overflow. New players don’t understand what a home server really means.
10. The down leveling system is confusing to players that don’t know what the green number is next to their real level and the notification of down leveling is nonexistent
11. The servers should be more like GW1 districts not real servers. I think WvW is the reason we have separate servers this time, but it is very annoying for GW1 fans.
That’s 11 things I’ve seen people complain about so far from BWE1 and BWE2. Are they problems or just preferences? Do developers expect everybody to be on the Internet gobbling up every press release and new information? Everybody is different and GW2 is hard to adjust to because it does break a lot of the normal MMO molds.
The game won’t be for every MmO lover, but I think it will do pretty good.
